The Veredus Save The Sheep Safety Overreach Boot is designed to protect the entire heel area from overreach injuries. The techno sheepskin lining around the top of the boot helps to prevent rubbing or irritation which is especially useful for sensitive horses.
Save the Sheep is the new line in techno sheepskin, and is 100% cruelty free. The lining of these Carbon Gel Vento boots is entirely man-made fabric which is completely free from any animal derivatives. It has many advantages when compared to real lambskin: it can be washed easily and dries quickly, whereas real lambskin requires considerable and lengthly maintenance; trapped sand and arena surface comes out of the loose, soft, wide knit more easily which minimises the risk of abrasions to the leg; it gives a more cosy and comfortable fit than lambskin; and it also stays looking good for longer - real lambskin tends to dry out, becomes stiff and turn yellow.
