The Shires Tempest Original Air Motion Combo Lightweight Turnout is an effective turnout rug that boasts a highly durable, strong 600 denier PFC-free outer which is waterproof and highly breathable. Featuring taped seams, a ripstop shell and machine washable materials making this unique rug very convenient for a horse owner.

This Shires lightweight turnout rug is lined with Air Motion mesh fabric; this fabric is a high tech system of ventilated three dimensional honeycomb that draws moisture away from the skin into an aerated environment allowing for superb thermoregulation. This means that the warm surface of the horse is kept away from the cooler outer fabric to prevent the horse from catching a chill during the demp weather. This unique honeycomb structure allows for even pressure distribution throughout the rug allowing for better air flow and moisture absorption.

This lightweight Shires turnout rug features adjustable buckles to the chest, cross surcingles, fillet strap and tail flap.
