The Shires Full Cheek Waterford Snaffle combines a flexible waterford mouthpiece with full cheeks, improving steering and turning while preventing the horse from fixing, leaning or taking a hold on the bit. The waterford mouthpiece is made up of multiple links for full movability; this can make the bit more severe to use - waterford bits should be used with caution. The full cheeks stop the bit from being pulled through the horse's mouth as well as improving steering. This bit is a good choice for stronger horses or those prone to leaning and can help aid steering while jumping.
