The Shires Dutch Gag with Waterford Mouth is a Dutch gag bit made with a Waterford mouth.  The mouth is made up of many different links which makes it hard for the horse to take hold and pull against the bit. The Shires Dutch Gag with Waterford Mouth has gag cheeks which allow leverage, this can be a severe bit. The 5'' and smaller sizes of this bit come with shorter cheeks to ensure the bit remains in proportion with the smaller head.
