The innovative LeMieux Self Cooling Saddle Pads are made with FeelCool® Ice material: this material has a cooling crystal kneaded into the weave which is activated by moisture. The greater the moisture, the greater the cooling effect! These crystals have incredible heat pick-up and transfer properties gradually absorbing and wicking sweat from the horse during work. Under extreme conditions, once the heat is dissipated a reverse rapid cooling effect is produced.

The Self Cooling Saddle Pads are designed with a carbon mesh spine insert which reduces any pressure points over the withers and back while allowing heat to rise and escape through the top of the pad. The inner lining of this saddle pad is made from the same self-cooling fabric as the top side. This fabric is soft, friction-free and ensures the whole pad breathes and wicks at the same level. This cooling pad is the perfect choice for hot and humid weather, or for horses that generally sweat a lot during work.
